• Perform background checks, reference checks and credit checks through the Centrix and or Equifax credit bureaus or a search of the Personal Property Security Register.

• Check the publicly available Ministry of Justice court databases.

• If there is an unpaid debt at the end of the tenancy, the tenants information may be provided to a debt collection agency for debt collection purposes.

• Create a tenancy agreement

We share this information with:

• Employees

• Owners.

• Contractors who may do work at your property.

• Any organisation for any authorised purpose with your express consent

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter personal information, we'll be unable to consider you for a rental property.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.

If you believe that your privacy has been breached, please contact us using the contact information below and provide details of the incident so that we can investigate it. We will deal with the complaint in accordance with our then current Complaints Handling Procedure.
